"These post caps worked perfectly for the base of our deck staircase. We used the 48" size on the rest of the deck but needed these larger ones at the bottom of the stairs because of the rail height. Easy to use and they look great! They are easy to cut if necessary and do not have a plastic-like sheen on them like some other sleeves I've seen used with composite decks. I love the New England style post caps that go with them."
